the old days in Malaysia

Last year, I went to Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia, as Exchange Participant AIESEC. It was my first time going abroad alone. I was so exited. After around two hours flight, finally arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Lil’ bit nervous, cause someone talked a lot and followed me from the aeroplane-luggage airport-immigration until I went to bathroom.

FYI, AIESEC is the largest student-run organization, actives in more than 111 countries. AIESEC enables young people to explore and develop their leadership potential for them to have positive impact in society.

I went for exchange experience for 6 weeks. I have a lot of extraordinary friends there, espc. students (AIESEC and non-AEISEC members) from Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) which located suburban. I lived in UTP dorm. My roomie named Mary, form North Carolina, USA. She is a lovely girl.

I learned how to corporate with people in different culture to make a great project, HIV/AIDS Awareness. HIV/AIDS is a serious problem all over the world. The project organized by AIESEC UTP. We held workshop to UTP and senior high school students.

Third week, we went to Penang to meet others exchange participant. Zach from England, Brenda from Mexico, Nazia from Bangladesh, Erin from Indonesia, Long from Vietnam, Hunbal from Pakistan. We lived in small apartment and shared many things together. We had so much fun. We worked as facies in awesome Youth Alive Conference, Universiti Sains Malaysia.

Last but not least, I learned a lot from this exchange experience. All the unforgettable moments. I wanna say thank you so much to AIESEC. I’ll cherish forever.
Let’s grab your own life changing experience of working abroad. Love you all..
